This innovation reaffirms Bitget's user-first principle, offering tools that empower users to stay ahead in the fast-paced crypto market.
In this guide, we'll explore the unique features of Bitget's spot PnL analysis and demonstrate how it can seamlessly enhance your daily trading experience.
What is spot PnL analysis?
Bitget's spot PnL analysis is a dashboard that compiles data on changes in assets within your spot accounts. This feature helps users find out the best buy or sell opportunities, enabling more informed trading decisions.
The spot PnL analysis consists of three components: account analysis, coin analysis, and trading analysis.
Account analysis
1. Log in to your Bitget account, click Spot on the navigation menu, then select PnL analysis
2. On the Spot PnL Analysis page, you can view the total PnL of all assets in your spot account. The calculation includes any changes that affect the account balance, such as today's PnL, 7-day/30-day PnL, total PnL, and net inflows/outflows.
Coin analysis
1. Click the Coin analysis tab on the Spot PnL analysis page.
Alternatively, on the main Spot account page, you can click on the asset you wish to analyze, and then select PnL analysis from the right-hand window.
2. Here, you can see the PnL for each asset in your spot account, such as today's PnL, 7-day/30-day PnL, Total PnL, and net inflows/outflows. Any changes that affect the account balance are included in the calculation.
3. You can also view the performance of each coin, which includes transaction holdings, breakeven price, total trading PnL, and total trading ROI. It's important to note that the calculation covers not only spot trades but also Convert transactions and small balance conversions.
Trading analysis
1. Click the Trading analysis tab on the Spot PnL analysis page.
You can also access this feature via Order history > Spot trades in the navigation bar, then select Trading analysis from the left menu.
Alternatively, you can also find Trading analysis in the lower right corner of the spot trading page.
2. This section allows you to view trading data for specific trading pairs in your spot account. It includes realized PnL, unrealized PnL, transaction fee analysis, inflow/outflow analysis, etc.
Explanation of trading performance metrics in coin analysis
1. Transaction holdings
a. Definition: The position size from spot trading, convert, and small balance conversion. Once the position size reaches zero, the breakeven price of a coin will no longer be calculated.
b. Example: A user holds 0 BTC initially in their account.

Definition |

August 28, 2023, 08:00:00 AM (UTC+8) |
Formula |
(Initial transaction holdings × initial breakeven price + change in position size × price at change) ÷ (initial transaction holdings + change in position size) |
(Initial position size × initial cost price + inflow × price at the time of inflow) ÷ (initial position size + inflow) |
Calculation rules |
1. Calculation starts with the first inflow transaction. 2. The initial breakeven price of all coins is 0 when there is no trading activity. 3. When the transaction holdings reach 0, the calculation of the breakeven price comes to an end, and the breakeven price resets to 0. 4. In the future, users will be able to customize the breakeven price and transaction holdings. |
1. Calculation starts with any inflow transactions. 2. When the asset value of a coin is less than 5 USDT, the cost price will no longer be calculated. 3. This feature is currently offline, but users will soon have the option to choose whether to display it.
