Set anti-phishing codes to secure your account

Due to the increase in external phishing activities detected by Bitget, we strongly recommend enabling the anti-phishing code to enhance your account security.

What is an anti-phishing code?

An anti-phishing code is a security feature provided by Bitget to help users identify phishing websites. Once enabled, all official emails and SMS messages (except SMS verification codes) will include your anti-phishing code, while phishing ones will not. This allows users to easily confirm the source of any communication.

How to set an anti-phishing code?

Navigate to Profile > Security > Anti-Phishing Code to set a code that is 8 to 32 digits long.
Note: If your previous anti-phishing code contained English letters, you will need to change it to a number-only format to ensure it appears in your SMS. Only the first 6 digits of the anti-phishing code you set will be displayed in SMS messages.

How to protect yourself from phishing websites

  • Phishing groups often claim that " you have an ongoing withdrawal" to lure users to fake sites. Always verify the authenticity of websites through the Official Verification Channel.
  • As mentioned earlier, setting an anti-phishing code can help you easily confirm the authenticity of important SMS and emails you receive.
  • Be cautious: even if an SMS appears to be from Bitget, it may be forged by hackers using malware. Always operate with care. For more information, refer to How to Identify and Prevent SMS Phishing .
