The latest partnership between TON chain and Telegram sparked renewed interest in TON.
Toncoin has experienced a remarkable surge over the last couple of days after announcing the partnership with Telegram. Last week, TON launched TON Space, a self-custodial crypto wallet built for Telegram users, and the wallet is accessible via Telegram settings. Telegram will also offer priority access to its global advertising platform, Telegram Ads to TON-based projects and partners.
Telegram Integrates TON's Crypto Wallet TON Space
The TON chain was initially developed by the Telegram team but was subsequently transferred to the community in 2020 due to regulatory concerns. Although the TON chain now operates as an independent blockchain, Telegram has demonstrated its support by introducing various intriguing features on the platform. This new partnership is a testament to this ongoing support.
Telegram has a substantial user base with over 700 million active users in 2022. If TON can effectively harness Telegram's user network and create an appealing ecosystem for their utilization, the potential for TON is substantial.
