Chiliz, the fan token project, has announced the launch of SportFi, an ecosystem that allows developers to create fan-centric decentralized applications while protecting them against intellectual property infringement and fraud. The announcement was made in an X thread published on October 27. Chiliz Chain, the fintech platform that powers Socios.com, has introduced a blacklist feature to keep participants safe against intellectual property infringement, threats, and fraud. Professional sports teams have been lining up to issue their own tokens on Chiliz Chain via Socios.com, including the English Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur.
