Hip-Hop Icons to Teach Peace in the Metaverse

The first musical metaverse performance will feature three artists – Havoc of Mobb Deep, Saigon, and Jahlil Beats. Havoc, one of the greatest East Coast producers of all time, had a long-standing beef with the Brooklyn-bred rapper Saigon throughout the early 2000s.

On top of that, Havoc, the author of “Eye For An Eye”, had a fair number of altercations with other popular artists throughout his lengthy career, including 2Pac, Jay-Z and even Prodigy, the other half of The Infamous Mobb Deep. However, recently Havoc and Saigon settled their differences and aimed to set a positive example for the community by creating a song together produced by Jahlil Beats.

With four months and 20 days left until the 50th anniversary of hip-hop culture, the celebration series by M.Verse begins today – the countdown clock is punching the last 13 hours, while full-access NFT tickets cost $50 on initial sale. The Polygon-minted NFT ticket includes the Hip-Hop Museum, participation in the song making process, and current airdrops and gives access to attendee-only NFT drops.
