Crypto Startup Ava Labs Lays Off Marketing and Communications Teams Amid Restructuring
Ava Labs, a crypto startup that supports the Avalanche blockchain network, has reportedly laid off a significant number of employees, particularly in its communications and marketing teams. The scale of the cuts has not been confirmed by the company, but it is believed to be widespread and has caught many employees by surprise. It remains unclear whether the technical teams have been affected. This comes after NFT marketplace OpenSea underwent a similar restructuring, laying off about 50% of its staff.
