Lido: No keys compromised due to InfStones vulnerability, will start rotating all keys related to them
An update on the Lido governance forum post stated that after discussions with the affected node operator InfStones and related security researchers (dWallet Labs), Lido DAO contributors have come to the following conclusions regarding the InfStones platform vulnerability:
There is no evidence that any keys were leaked due to this vulnerability;
As a precautionary measure, InfStones voluntarily withdrew all validators and began rotating all keys related to InfStones. They will actively interact with the DAO in the forum to reach a consensus on future steps.
All ETH from the withdrawn validators will be returned to the Lido protocol through the withdrawal process and will then be re-staked into available keys.
Looking ahead, Lido DAO contributors suggest discussing proposed follow-up steps related to InfStones validator key rotation in the forum.
