Lookonchain: The authenticity of the email received by Mt.Gox creditors from the bankruptcy trustee cannot be verified
According to Lookonchain, a blockchain tracking service, some Mt. Gox creditors have received an email from the bankruptcy trustee stating that they plan to start repaying debts to creditors soon and are working to begin cash repayments in 2023. At present, Mt. Gox's wallet holds 137,891 BTC, worth approximately $5.14 billion, which has remained untouched since 2018. However, the authenticity of the email has not been confirmed, and there has been no official statement.
