Uniswap DAO approves granting 10 million UNI to active representatives
In order to address the issue of low participation rates, Uniswap DAO recently voted to delegate some UNI tokens held by the Uniswap Foundation to representatives with insufficient representation, who maintained an 80% participation rate. The proposal was originally aimed at allocating 2.5 million UNI tokens to four new representatives. However, after lengthy discussions, seven representatives were ultimately selected, receiving the voting rights of 10 million UNI tokens. Approximately 18.5 million UNI token holders participated, with over 17 million expressing support. The proposal must now be executed on-chain by UNI representatives.
