JPMorgan Chase CEO: U.S. economy may be in recession due to rising interest rates
Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, issued several warnings about the US economy at a recent summit, stating that inflation could remain at a high level for a long time and that the US economy could go into recession due to rising interest rates.CEO Jamie Dimon said: "I see a lot of things that are both dangerous and inflationary, and I just want to say be prepared, interest rates may rise, both short-term and 10-year rates, and be prepared for the possibility of a recession."As early as September, Dimon warned that the Fed could raise interest rates to 7%, which could cause stagflation in the US economy.
