Standard Chartered-backed Zodia custody joins Ripple-owned Metaco’s global crypto storage network
Zodia Custody, a cryptocurrency storage provider supported by Standard Chartered Bank (STAN), announced on Monday that it is joining the custody expert Metaco network under Ripple, which aims to handle the custody and settlement of digital assets for institutions around the world.
Cryptocurrency storage and settlement networks are becoming increasingly popular, where assets are held in custody to eliminate counterparty risk, especially after the explosion and collapse of companies like FTX last year.
