Nethermind Research team releases DV operator key update plan
Nethermind Research team has released its second report on Obol and its collaboration, titled "DV Operator Key Update Plan". This is an important study to achieve efficient and secure DV technology.
The report discusses an important topic - Key Refresh, which allows operators in the DV cluster to update their partial keys while retaining the verifier's secret and public keys. Nethermind recommends using the Groth16 proof combination method. The aggregator (one of the operators) generates a concise wrapper SNARK to prove the validity of fair key refresh and submits a commitment to the smart contract for the fair key refresh proof.
