On December 7th, Jito Labs, the MEV infrastructure developer of Solana ecosystem, announced that the JTO airdrop application window will open at 0:00 on December 8th Beijing time, and any eligible airdrop recipient can receive JTO tokens within 18 months.
The total amount of JTO is 1 billion, of which 100 million JTO (10%) will be retrospectively airdropped to the community. Among the 10% airdrop share (100 million tokens), 15% (15 million tokens) will be allocated to Jito-Solana validators, 5% (5 million tokens) will be allocated to Jito MEV searchers, and 80% (80 million tokens) will be allocated to JitoSOL users (who hold at least 100 points before November 25, 2023). Currently, users can verify their eligibility by verifying their Solana wallet address, and after the airdrop is launched, they can start the JTO token claiming process on the official website.
