Ordinals EVM expansion protocol Veda announces indefinite postponement
The launch of the Veda protocol, an extension of the Bitcoin Ordinals EVM, has been indefinitely postponed due to force majeure. However, Veda-core and Veda-bvm will be open sourced. It is reported that two hours before announcing the delay, Veda announced that the protocol was about to launch, and had already developed its token economics and token standards, and had established an index for its Ordinals service. Afterwards, the personal details of the project founder were made public in the community. According to official information, the official social media account was established in October of this year, and the first content was published at the beginning of November. Veda aims to solve the problem of the lack of Layer 1 smart contracts in Bitcoin without changing the core consensus of Bitcoin, introducing an off-chain index to verify Veda data on Ordinals and provide status queries for contracts.
