Parallel Finance: Successfully blocked abnormal activities of uPPG token on Uniswap and confiscated hacker funds
On December 11th, Parallel Finance, posted on social media that they had discovered abnormal activity in the uPPG token pool. An intelligent contract attempted to increase the price of uPPG tokens on Uniswap to maximize its lending potential. Parallel successfully prevented these actions and confiscated the funds used by the attacker. These funds will be kept in the protocol's multi-signature wallet and used for ongoing security improvements and community services. Additionally, no user funds were leaked and the Parallel protocol is running smoothly.
