Report: 47% of Nigerians are involved in cryptocurrency-related activities
According to a report by Coin Journal, about 47% of Nigerians actively participate in cryptocurrency-related activities. The report also shows that cryptocurrency ownership in the country has grown by 15% from 2020 to 2023. It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has taken measures to restrict the use of cryptocurrencies and vigorously implement its decision of February 6, 2021, in an attempt to exclude cryptocurrency entities from the banking system.
