The Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan, China stated that investment fraud and disputes over virtual currencies will be included in the gold inspection project by 2024. The Financial Supervisory Commission revealed the key points of the gold inspection in 2024, totaling 96 items, which can be divided into 6 major areas, including corporate governance, fraud prevention, protection of financial consumer rights, real estate credit risk management, information security, virtual asset platforms, and transaction business (VASP), among which the virtual currency business is the first to be included in the gold inspection category, focusing on whether the operators have implemented anti-money laundering measures.
