On December 26th, according to Bitcoin News, Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the Financial Market Committee of the State Duma of Russia, stated that "because Russia's cryptocurrency market is quite large. The main participants involved in cryptocurrency mining and circulation want to regulate this; they are willing to pay taxes. Therefore, I expect cryptocurrency regulations to become law in the first half of 2024."
