South Korean crypto venture firm Hashed executed a total of 29 investments in 2023, with a total investment of 36.8 billion Korean won (approximately $28.41 million USD). By industry, blockchain infrastructure accounted for 21%, gaming accounted for 21%, finance accounted for 21%, and IP and content-related startups accounted for 15%. In addition, the company invested in a variety of early-stage startups that can utilize blockchain infrastructure for the long term, including O2O platforms, sharing economy, and AI startups. By country, South Korea had the largest share at 38%, followed by North America (21%), Europe (7%), and other Asian regions such as Singapore (34%).
There were a total of 20 new investment companies, with most being early-stage startups from seed to Series A rounds.
