The number of global cryptocurrency ATMs decreased by 11.1% compared with last year, with the largest decline occurring in the United States.
According to Cointelegraph citing Coin ATM Radar data, as of January 1, 2024, there were 33,628 cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide, a decrease of 11.1% from the 37,827 recorded on January 1, 2023.The United States had the largest decline in the number of cryptocurrency ATMs in 2023, dropping from 32,672 to 27,631, a decrease of 15.4%. However, the country still has 82% of the world's cryptocurrency ATMs.Meanwhile, the number of cryptocurrency ATMs in Australia, Canada, Spain, and Poland has steadily increased.
