The official X account of the US Securities and Exchange Commission announced in the early hours of Wednesday that the spot Bitcoin ETF has been approved. Shortly after, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler stated that the tweet was false, causing the price of Bitcoin to plummet from $47,680 to slightly above $45,500. It is reported that the crypto digital artist Billy Restey has cast Gary Gensler's response tweet into an inscription with the number 53,995,422 and posted, "This tweet has been on the Bitcoin blockchain, and none of us will forget it." According to Dune Analysis data, the current number of Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions has exceeded 54 million, and the total fee income is close to about 5478 BTC.
