FTX bankruptcy panel plans to sell 35 properties in Bahamas, including luxury condos at SBF
According to court documents, FTX's bankruptcy committee is preparing to sell a total of 35 properties owned by FTX in the Bahamas, including the luxury apartment where former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried resided. FTX lawyers stated in court documents that the sale price of the properties must reach at least 80% of the estimated price by the designated broker, and any sale over $5 million should be reported to the US trustee, the creditors' committee lawyers, and interested parties making legitimate claims on the listed properties. According to a document from last year, FTX had a total of 38 properties in the Bahamas worth $199 million.
