Nearly 50,000 Dormant BTC Revived After Bitcoin Spot ETF Approval
The cryptocurrency tracker Arkham Intelligence, after a few days of trading of the spot Bitcoin ETF, dormant Bitcoins worth $2 billion were transferred through multiple associated addresses. These BTCs moved once in 2019 and had been dormant since 2013. Arkham stated: "Historically, these Bitcoins were all moved at the same time and date". It is reported that these BTCs have been merged from 49 addresses into 5 addresses, each containing 8,000 to 12,000 BTC, holding a total of 49,858 BTC with a total value of approximately $2.12 billion.
