The New York Stock Exchange has submitted an application to the SEC requesting to allow BTC spot ETF options trading
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has submitted a Form B-4 to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), allowing for the listing and trading of "commodity-based trust stock" options. Bloomberg ET FIntelligence team member Henry Jim posted on X that this application is an important step towards the discovery of Bitcoin ETFs and the broader cryptocurrency market. If the SEC approves this application, it will allow for regulated options trading through the NYSE, further bringing new investment opportunities for traders (including retail and institutional) interested in Bitcoin.
