Public Goods Network announced that it is tentatively scheduled to officially end operations in June this year
Public Goods Network (PGN), a Layer2 network based on OP Stack, announced on social media that after a comprehensive evaluation, it has decided to gradually end PGN in the next six months, with a tentative final time set for June 2024. PGN stated that if other teams or individuals wish to provide support or take over, they are willing to discuss. PGN aims to provide funding for global public goods, generate revenue through network sorter fees, and return these funds to the entire public product. PGN launched on the mainnet in July 2023, and in August 2023, Gitcoin Grants 18 launched on Public Goods Network.
