Manta co-founder : The network is experiencing well-planned DDOS attacks, funds are safe
Kenny Li, co-founder of Manta Network, posted on social media that at the same time as their TGE event started (5:30 PM Beijing time), Manta Network began experiencing a DDOS attack. Since then, over 135 million requests have been received by the RPC node, indicating a very aggressive and well-timed attack. Currently, the situation for Manta Network is:
· Blockchain operation is secure
· Product production is normal
· Funds are safe
· Communication between applications and the blockchain is severely restricted
The Manta Network team is working around the clock to resolve the issue. They are developing more DDoS mitigation measures and communicating with partners and service providers to deploy countermeasures. This attack is much more fierce than usual and has lasted much longer, which means that the time to resolve the issue is also longer than usual.
