Latest Ethereum ACDE conference: Sepolia will fork on January 30, Holesky will fork on February 7
Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko summarized the latest Ethereum core developer execution layer meeting (ACDE). The consensus reached by all core developers is to prepare a new software version before the middle of next week, and the client team is willing to follow the test network deployment plan. Sepolia will fork on January 30th, and Holesky will fork on February 7th. It is expected that client announcements will be released next week.
The meeting also discussed increasing the maximum effective balance from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH in EIP-7251 and introducing EIP-7547, which includes a list.
