Tether CEO: Tether does not choose the blockchain network and supports many different blockchains
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino tweeted that Tether does not choose which blockchain to use. Tether supports different blockchains as they are the transfer layer for USDt and its other tokens. Users decide which one is best for them based on factors such as support, speed, and cost.However, Tether maintains the same functions such as issuance, redemption, burning, and freezing/unfreezing (to meet compliance requirements) on the supported blockchains.
