Saltwater Games Raises $5.5 Million in Seed Funding to Expand Operations and Technology Stack
Saltwater Games, a Web3 gaming company, has secured $5.5 million in seed funding to expand its technology stack and operations. The funding round was led by crypto investment firms Deus X and Fourth Revolution Capital (4RC) and followed Saltwater's acquisition of gaming developers Maze Theory, Nexus Labs, and Quantum Interactive. Tim Grant, CEO of Deus X, will become Saltwater's chairman as part of the deal. The company plans to use the funds to increase headcount, invest in new technology, and expand into new territories.
