Slerf, a meme coin in the Solana ecosystem, had a trading volume on its launch day that exceeded all Ethereum-based exchanges, as reported by CoinDesk.According to DEXScreener data, Slerf, a sloth-themed token launched in Asia on Monday morning, had a trading volume of over $2.7 billion in the past 24 hours, including 800,000 transactions from 130,000 individual traders.According to CoinGecko data, over $1.7 billion of these trades were conducted through the Solana ecosystem's DEX, Raydium.In comparison, according to DefiLlama data, the cumulative processing volume of trading applications on Ethereum was $2.3 billion, which is the total number of all transactions settled on the Ethereum blockchain, such as transactions from trading, lending, and borrowing applications.
