Players can unlock new technologies and rare blueprints to improve equipment and adapt to the environment, as well as trade fuel and blueprints in the marketplace. In Illuvium Overworld, players capture Illuvials, forge specialized gear and craft unique items to aid in their journey. While Illuvium Arena offers strategic battles through automated battles with other players featuring multiple game modes, and finally, Illuvium Beyond allows players to collect beautifully illustrated cards depicting Illuvials in unique forms and earn exclusive rewards for completing these collections.
The game's release also marks the start of a six-month airdrop campaign. Players can earn a portion of the $180,000 ILV reward pool by completing in-game missions and milestones, with 30,000 ILVs distributed each season.
