Odaily News Ryan Salame, a former FTX executive, was bitten by a German shepherd while visiting a friends house, and his lawyer asked a New York court to postpone his sentence so that he could undergo emergency surgery. According to an attachment to a doctors letter submitted to the court on Friday, Salame later went to the hospital on July 3 and was examined for a dog bite on the face. Salame, who served as co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison last year for pleading guilty to criminal charges. He was originally scheduled to appear in court on August 29 this year for sentencing, and his lawyer asked that the date be postponed to October 13. (The Block)
