AI company Perplexity launches revenue-sharing program with publishers
On July 31st, according to the official blog, artificial intelligence startup Perplexity launched the Publishers' Program, aimed at supporting media organizations and online creators. The program's first batch of partners includes TIME, Der Spiegel, Fortune, Entrepreneur, The Texas Tribune, and WordPress.com.The main contents include:1. Revenue sharing: Introduce ads through the relevant question function. When referencing publisher content, the publisher will receive a revenue split.2. Access to API: Partners can access Perplexity's API for free and create custom answer engines on their website, only referencing the publisher's content.3. Enterprise Professional Edition: Provides a free one-year Perplexity Enterprise Pro for all employees of publisher partners to support their research and fact-checking work.Perplexity also plans to collaborate with ScalePost.ai to provide AI analysis and explore future forms of cooperation.
