It’s the height of summer, and that means it’s officially time for Sizzle Season to kick off! This season, we have an exhilarating new set of missions for gamified earnings as well as Seasonal $SPARKLET airdrops that players can earn.

Sizzle Season kicks off on August 1st and runs through September 15th. This season, we’re shaking things up with a major adjustment: there are 15 tasks in total, but players only need to complete 12 to achieve the maximum yield.

This change offers more flexibility and choice, allowing players to focus on the missions that best suit their playstyle.

Sizzle Season Missions

Starting August 1st at 9 AM PT, Sizzle Season kicks off with a mix of familiar tasks and exciting new challenges to keep you engaged and rewarded. You can track your completed missions on the leaderboard, available both on this page and through in-game announcements.

1. Daily Dedication: Login at least 25 days during the season
2. Streak Seeker: Login 7 days straight
3. Property Pioneer: Mint 3 properties during the season
4. Ornament Enthusiast: Apply any Sizzle ornament for at least 3 weeks
5. Master Builder: Complete the construction of 5 structures
6. Item Alchemist: Burn/exchange 3 items
7. Referral Champion: Earn a referral bonus by referring others (referred player must level up)
8. Metaventure Shopper: Buy 3 items from a Metaventure
9. Airdrop Connector: Connect your Upland account to Chapter 2 Airdrop
10. Visitor Explorer: Visit 5 different Visitor properties (paid send)
11. City Traveler: Travel once via a car between 2 different cities
12. Sparklet Importer: Bring $SPARKLET (any amount) into Upland
13. Track Hero: Participate in 2 staked races
14. Race Enthusiast: Participate in 3 public multiplayer races (kart or cars)
15. Badge Collector: Receive a badge to your profile

Seasonal Sparklet Drops

That’s not all! We also have exciting season airdrops for players!

Upland has taken a snapshot of *awarded $SPARKLET tokens on the day of the TGE. For the next three seasons, there will be two drops each season to reward players who held $SPARKLET during the snapshot. The amount of tokens you receive will be based on several factors.

First, the number of $SPARKLET tokens you hold at the time of the snapshot will be considered. If your current $SPARKLET count is lower than your original count, the lower number will be used for calculations. This is to ensure players are awarded in this drop for their pre-TGE awarded $SPARKLET that they have kept inside Upland.

Additionally, your multiplier will increase based on the number of Gamified Earning Seasonal missions you complete during each season.

Points are calculated by multiplying your minimum $SPARKLET count by your mission multiplier. Tokens are then distributed proportionally based on your points relative to the total points collected by all players.

Moreover, bridging in at least a 500 net $SPARKLETduring each season will boost your multiplier by 0.25, giving you a better chance to earn more tokens.

The upcoming seasonal snapshot dates are as follows, with the corresponding airdrop occurring a few days later:

• September 15
• October 30
• November 15
• December 30
• January 15

How Gamified Earnings Work

The earning increase in Upland is structured around the completion of tasks, providing a clear incentive for player activity and engagement through a series of tiered rewards. Here’s the breakdown:

• 1 Task Complete (Multiplier 1.2x): Starting off, completing just one task applies a 1.2x multiplier to the earnings, resulting in a 5.88% annual earning.
• 2 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 1.5x): Advancing to two tasks completed increases the multiplier to 1.5x, which boosts the earnings to 7.35%.
• 3 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 2x): Completing three tasks further escalates the multiplier to 2x, enhancing the earnings to 9.8%.
• 4 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 2.5x): Four completed tasks amplify the earnings with a 2.5x multiplier, reaching 12.25%.
• 5 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 3x): This pivotal level, achieved by completing five tasks, maximizes the regular reward with a 3x multiplier, culminating in a 14.7% earnings.
• 12 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 3.1x): For the utmost dedication, completing all tasks for the season activates a 3.1x multiplier, the highest tier, elevating the annual earnings to an exceptional 15.2%.

Gamified UPX earning introduces a forward-looking reward system where tasks completed in the current season determine the UPX earnings for the following season.

For example, tasks completed during Sizzle Season will set the earning rate for the upcoming Harvest Season. Similarly, activities undertaken in Harvest Season will influence earnings for the next season, and so on.
