Bloomberg analyst: Bitcoin ETF options may be launched in Q4 this year
On August 9th,Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart stated that Bitcoin ETF options may be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. Although the deadline for the final decision by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is September 21st, further steps by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will be required afterwards. There are currently various ETFs related to Bitcoin and Ethereum, including leveraged ETFs, that already offer options trading.
