Ethernet L2 Transaction Volume Hits All-Time High, Averaging 318 Transactions Per Second
Driven by growth on networks such as Xai, Base and Proof of Play, Ether L2 transaction volumes hit an all-time high on August 7, averaging 318 transactions per second, with Ether Extension solutions now processing 24 times more transactions than the base Ether chain, according to L2Beat. Additionally, L2 solutions including Base, Arbitrum, Blast, Optimism, and Mantle collectively accounted for $11.7 billion of native TVL, or $36.7 billion when bridging deposits are included.
