Kremlin spokesman: Russia questioned Telegram, but did not arrest Pavel Durov

On August 31, according to the Interfax news agency, Kremlin spokesman Peskov said that Russian authorities had questioned the messaging tool Telegram, but that Telegram founder Pavel Durov had not been arrested in Russia. “No one has arrested him in this country. Of course, there was questioning before,” Peskov said in an interview. “Yes, terrorists do use the Telegram network, but terrorists also use cars. Why didn't they arrest the general manager of Renault or Citroen?” Peskov said.
