Morgan Stanley economists said in a report that the growth of the U.S. economy and Federal Reserve policy will be key factors affecting Asia's macro outlook in the coming months. Their basic forecast is for a soft landing of the U.S. economy, with the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 175 basis points by mid-2025. The institution expects Asia's GDP growth rate to remain around 4.3% over the next four quarters, and it holds an optimistic view on India, Japan, Indonesia, and South Korea.
