Vitalik Buterin, posting from X, highlighted the growing interest in Celo, a platform dedicated to scaling Ethereum, and praised Celo, a network that has been growing recently.
At this point, Buterin congratulated Celo's success by saying that Celo had surpassed Tron in the number of daily active addresses.
“This is great to see. Improving global access to basic payments/finance has always been an important way Ethereum can be good for the world, and it's great to see Celo gaining momentum.
Celo is soon becoming Ethereum L2.”
Noting that one of the key benefits of Ethereum is its potential to improve global access to basic financial services, Buterin believes Celo aligns with Ethereum’s goals of decentralization and accessibility.
Following Vitalik Buterin's post, the CELO price rose by 15%.
