Standard Chartered will use the Hong Kong Monetary Authority sandbox to launch a full-featured stablecoin

On October 7th, according to relevant reports, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced the list of participants in the stablecoin publisher sandbox in July this year. Standard Chartered is one of them. Ma Fei (Dominic Maffei), the head of digital assets and fintech at the bank, stated that Standard Chartered's research direction is to launch a "universal stablecoin", which means a coin can connect different application scenarios to expand future development potential.
