Former US Presidential Candidate: Young voters turn to Trump, economy and peace become key factors
According to CNN, former presidential candidate and Trump supporter Vivek Ramaswamy said that Trump's campaign attracted more traditionally Democratic-supporting groups, including African Americans, Hispanics, and Generation Z voters. Ramaswamy pointed out that Gen Z voters are mainly concerned with avoiding involvement in foreign conflicts, preventing a "third world war", promoting economic growth and reducing housing costs.
Ramaswamy emphasized: "If the United States unfortunately gets involved in a foreign war, Generation Z will be the first to bear the brunt. In addition, prices have risen in recent years while wage growth has not kept up." When asked whether Trump should admit defeat if he loses the election, Ramaswamy said: "Whoever wins the election should win; losers should admit failure."
