Team DeFi -DeltaPrime protocol issued an ultimatum to the hacker, demanding that he return the stolen assets worth $4,8 million by the morning of November 14.

Channel co-founder Gavin Hasselbaink warned that failure to engage in dialogue would result in lawsuits and an investigation into the identity of the perpetrator.

I'm sure you know that we have several leads that point to your true identity, and at some point we will have to deal with refunding users' funds," Hasselbaink said.

The DeltaPrime protocol was hacked on November 11. Hackers stole $4,8 million in assets from the platform. Immediately after, the protocol developers sent a message on the blockchain to the attacker asking him to contact them to return the stolen funds. However, according to Hasselbaink, the criminal “either did not notice the message or decided to respond later.”

The DeltaPrime development team stressed that their priority remains the “safe return of funds.” They assured the hacker that if he voluntarily returns the stolen assets, his identity will not be revealed. However, if the attacker does not contact them by the morning of November 14, DeltaPrime will contact law enforcement.

This is not the first time DeltaPrime has been hacked this year. In September, a hacker stole $6 million worth of assets from the platform by exploiting weak private key protection.
