Ether NFT Volume Rises to $186 Million Last Week, Hits Three-Month High

Ether NFT trading volume rose to a three-month high of $186 million last week, up 67% from $111 million the week before, according to data.The Pudgy Penguins series was the main catalyst driving the boom following the launch of its PENGU tokens, which generated $108 million in trading volume, with individual Pudgy Penguins trading at a price of over 29 ETH at one point, but quickly fell after the token's release. Bitcoin is the second largest NFT ecosystem, and its weekly trading volume is just $33 million.
