Kekius Maximus Skyrockets Following Elon Musk's Social Media Antics
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, sparked significant attention today by altering his social media name to Kekius Maximus on platform X. This unexpected change caused the meme coin KEKIUS to surge dramatically in value.
KEKIUS experienced a remarkable increase, trading at $0.08832, up by an astonishing 504%. The market reacted swiftly to Musk's latest eccentric behavior.
On December 31, Musk updated his X handle to Kekius Maximus, also modifying his profile picture to feature Pepe the Frog with a joystick. He playfully announced on Twitter, "Kekius Maximus will soon reach level 80 in hardcore PoE."
Known for his affinity for meme coins, Musk also shared a tweet stating, "Elon Musk is now Kekius Maximus." Traders have been quick to capitalize on these developments.
A trader who invested $1,964 in KEKIUS two weeks earlier now controls approximately $1.535 million. This incredible gain is highlighted by a crypto analyst on X, reflecting a dramatic 780X return. The trader, now the largest holder, has already secured a $535,000 profit.
CoinGecko reports that Kekius Maximus has achieved a 24-hour trading volume of $35.2 million. Its market cap surpassed $88.32 million as the price soared.
Musk's social media name changes aren’t novel. In January 2023, he humorously adopted the name Mr. Tweet. "Changed my name to Mr. Tweet, now Twitter won’t let me change it back," Musk tweeted.
He also temporarily became 'Naughtius Maximus' before reverting to his original identity. In another instance, his post featuring a meme with Doge led to a brief Dogecoin surge, despite addressing the Department of Government Efficiency.
The phenomena following Musk’s name change stirred significant market activity, demonstrating yet again the influential power he holds online.
