A technical analysis shared by cryptocurrency analyst known as “Bobby A” on the X platform highlighted that XRP could see a significant price increase to $15 during the current cycle.

This prediction is based on an analysis of the token’s previous market cycles, applying extrapolations that are based on percentages and chart pattern analysis to predict potential prices for XRP. The analyst compares XRP’s performance during the 2017 market cycle to its current trajectory. “XRP appears to be cutting its percentage point increases in half compared to its 2017 market cycle.”

“From its 2017 bullish range breakout, as illustrated by the horizontal black dashed line above, XRP initially appreciated by 629%. From its 2024 bullish range breakout, XRP initially appreciated by ~331%. From its December 2014 high to its May 2017 high near its 4,236 extension, the asset appreciated by 1.330%. If XRP were to cut its next impulse in half from a percentage point upside perspective, as it did with this first one, it would put the asset’s price at approximately ~$15,00 near its 4,236 extension after a possible 665% increase,” he wrote.

The specialist complemented the analysis highlighting that in addition to the aforementioned movement, the current bull flag that XRP is forming is targeting the top of its macro parallel channel near the $10,50 price zone. At the time of publication, the price of XRP was quoted at $2,17 with a 1.8% increase in the last 24 hours.
