On January 14th, Sony Group's Ethereum L2 blockchain Soneium mainnet has officially launched and is open to everyone. Sony Group's mission is "to inspire and fulfill curiosity among creators and audiences around the world through the power of creativity and technology" and has built a diverse business ecosystem, committed to providing value to creators and content consumers in multiple business fields. Soneium utilizes the OP Stack and Superchain developed by the Optimism Foundation to provide a public blockchain that aims to empower individuals and communities to collaborate, create, and integrate emotions into the digital domain.
